For parents
AI creativity, judgement and supervision belong together.
Children explore what AI can do—write, speak, listen, create and code—using supervised tools with capabilities similar to services such as ChatGPT, Codex and Claude. They learn to structure a prompt and a project around their own thinking, without trusting AI completely.
What it can give
- Turn ideas into clear goals, context, constraints and steps
- Use AI to write, speak, listen, create and code
- Use supervised AI tools to develop and express their own creativity
What children must notice
- AI can invent facts, reproduce bias and sound confident when wrong
- An output can be incomplete, misleading or unsuitable for the project
- A convincing answer is not evidence that the answer is correct
How we work safely
- AI activities take place in a supervised environment
- The child defines the goal and reviews every important output
- Claims and generated code are checked against observation or reliable sources
- AI supports the child’s project; it does not replace creative ownership or judgement
- Parents receive a plain-language summary of tools used and lessons learned

Certificate available
Completing all seven blocks and the final project qualifies for a named ZTL certificate.
