Work at your pace. Take a break between stages; there is no countdown.
You need: paper, a pencil and this lab. A helper is welcome for reading and discussion.Connect to what you know
You can program a route and interpret a sensor. Now test whether a route depends on its environment.
Understand it, step by step
- 1
A test needs a starting state, inputs and an expected result. “It worked once” does not tell us which conditions were tested.
- 2
Map B adds an obstacle to Map A. Predict whether your original command list still works before changing it.
- 3
Record the first collision. Change the relevant part of the route, not unrelated settings. Rerun from the same start so the comparison is useful.
Route A succeeds until a new wall blocks its third move. Keep the first two moves, make a detour, and test the whole revised route from the start.
Pause and predict
Will one route work on both maps?
